Financial reports

     Some of the thing that I learned from doing this assignment was that companies like to keep their investors up to date. They like to do this because it keeps their investors happy and it compels interest in further investors. I also learned that every little detail is in these reports so everyone knows exactly whats going on. One question I still have is why would places that are doing bad want to release these reports because it could make them loose a lot of their investors.

3-2-1 Ted talk

     In the video the man mostly talked about habits that we develop overtime. He uses the examples of peeling that little sticker off fruit before you eat it, when your learning to drive you notice everything then it starts getting simpler, and also how apple came out with a fully charged product so you no longer had to wait for it to charge. One thing I notice is that with certain apps they are way to confusing and it is very hard to learn how to use them. Also with the cloud it is very confusing on what goes into it and how exactly it works. Lastly I think if someone wanted to develop a good product they shou;d just make it simple to use and also get rid of all of the little annoyances that products have today.

Parmalat Scandal

     The Parmalat scandal happened in an Italian processing plant that Parmalat had. The case started in the 80s and it is still gong on it has been a string of court cases for years long. They found out that there was a 14 billion dollar black hole in their finances. In 2003 bondholders realized that 4 billion dollars in one of their bank of america accounts wasn't there. All of this lead to many arrests and it upset a lot of people who had shares in the company.

Leader Qualities

Three good leadership qualities to have are decision making, awareness, and also to be able to prepare for any mistakes or unplanned outcomes.

Scavenger Hunt

     During the scavenger hunt I had a partner and this helped me find a lot of things because it is like having two sets of eyes. Both people can look for things at the same time and you find most things twice as fast. During the scavenger Hunt I realized that anywhere I look I can find examples of business and that I am always surrounded by business.

Frontline Things I didn't kno

One thing that I didn't know is that big banks have lost 83 billion because government officials have won it back from them. Also there has been a salmonella outbreak with chicken so a lot of companies have to change inspection for their products. Lastly some fast food restaurants sold raw hamburgers that had been linked to a dangerous strand of bacteria.
